Changing Lives, One Gift at a Time
Supporting the Greater KCMO area foster care system
Why We Care
Foster Friends Foundations bridges a gap in foster care by partnering with local child advocates to identify unique needs of the children in the foster care system.
Make a Difference in a Child’s Life
Every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and loved. For children in foster care, that stability often comes through a caring community willing to step in and help.
Whether you have time to volunteer, resources to share, or simply a desire to support foster families, there’s a meaningful place for you in this mission.
Through volunteering, you can provide practical, hands-on support to foster children and the families who care for them. You might:
Deliver emergency supplies to a foster family in need
Mentor a child in the foster care system
Provide childcare support for foster parents
Assist with minor home repairs for foster families
Help cover daycare costs through financial donations
Collect hygiene items, birthday gifts, or celebration kits for children in care
These are just a few of the many ways to make a real and lasting impact.
Meaningful change happens when a community comes together. No act of kindness is too small—each one can bring hope, stability, and encouragement to children and families navigating foster care.
We’d love to connect with you and help you find the best way to get involved.

Our Mission
When children unexpectedly enter the foster care system, their needs often extend far beyond basic necessities.
Foster Friends Foundation was created to help bridge that gap.
We partner with local child advocates to identify the individualized needs of children in foster care and provide meaningful support during difficult transitions.
